LifeChange Housing Associates (LCHA) was created in 2017 to connect and provide our homeless neighbors to affordable transitional housing that creates opportunities for changed lives. We work to build relationships with many of our cities homeless, assisting them in finding permanent housing solutions and escaping a life on the streets.

Since 2021, LCHA has worked with the Irving Community Action Network and seven other non-profits and churches to facilitate the Irving Inclement Weather Shelter. Providing refuge to Irving’s homeless when severe winter weather approaches.

LCHA has a vision to end homelessness in Irving over the next 10 years and that ultimately ending homelessness is done by providing temporary housing with supportive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness with the goal of interim stability and support to successfully move to and maintain permanent housing. In 2024, we hope to open Irving’s first transitional housing shelter as well as a Housing Resource Center that will help make that vision become reality.
